Ryanair Expands Its Presence in Turkey
This launch is part of Ryanair’s broader expansion into Turkey, where it has been operating since 2018 with routes from Bratislava and Dublin. Adding these UK routes reflects Ryanair’s plan to tap into the rising demand for winter travel to Turkey. For Summer 2024, Ryanair has added over 450,000 seats for Turkish destinations, aiming to increase travel access at affordable prices. Other recent expansions include new routes from UK airports like Birmingham and Manchester, further increasing low-cost travel options for British tourists.
Making Travel to Turkey More Accessible
With these new routes, Ryanair will make it easier and cheaper for UK travelers to reach Turkey’s coastal regions, strengthening travel and tourism ties between the two countries. Tickets are now available for booking, and Ryanair advises travelers to book early for the best fares and winter travel options to Turkey.
A Boost for Coastal Real Estate Markets
Ryanair's new direct flights to Turkey offer exciting prospects for the country's real estate market, particularly in popular tourist destinations like Bodrum and Dalaman. With increased accessibility and more budget-friendly travel options, Turkey is likely to see a rise in interest from UK-based buyers considering holiday homes, retirement properties, or investment opportunities. These direct flights can attract potential property investors who prioritize easy access to their investments, especially in coastal areas. As a result, the increased flow of visitors may stimulate the local property market, enhancing demand for vacation rentals and second homes and contributing to sustained growth in Turkey's real estate sector.
